Treatments
Children
In early orthodontic treatment for children, removable appliances are usually used. The treatment goal is to improve tooth and especially jaw misalignments and thus prevent further undesirable development of the jaws and the dentition.

Removable appliances
Early treatment of tooth and jaw misalignments with removable appliances can lead to targeted growth control. Furthermore, early treatment with removable appliances can shorten or even prevent extensive further orthodontic treatment in the permanent dentition.
Monitoring tooth change
We recommend a first consultation of your child to a specialist in orthodontics with the age of 6 years. Inbetween 6 and 10 years normally first phase of tooth change is taking place and within this time extreme misalignments can be treated as part of early orthodontic treatment.
